A Warbling Vireo jumps into the lilac after a very quick bath shaking its feathers. This video was recorded on September 1, 2005, at 2:53 PM in Waldport, Oregon. Note: Warbling Vireos are extremely flighty and very hard to capture on film. Earlier in the day, this bird was diving into the bird bath and immediately flying away. We have never seen this behavior in another bird.
