PC Computer Running IE 6 or IE 5
Birds Amoré is designed using CSS and strict XHTML on an iMac G3.
Most web browsers, for both mac and pc computers, such as Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, Safari and others, display the CSS/XHTML fairly well. But when tested on the buggy browsers, IE 6 and below, all sorts of ugly bugs show up. Because of this, all web designers have to incorporate special hacks and workarounds so their web site can be displayed as it would in a non-buggy browser.
We cannot afford to purchase a pc computer. In order to see the how web site changes are being displayed in IE 6 and below, I have to drive to and from the local library. If possible, please consider donating your old pc computer that has IE 6 or the IE 5 browser. Thank you so much.
