This is a very short video showing a female rabbit jumping from the lawn over the tops of plants into her nest site. She made this nest in July of 2005.

Jumping over the top of plants into an area will help to ensure her young a little more security from predators as there won't be a scent trail directly to the nest. In early August, the grass plug was changed to a small grass tunnel.
